Our 6th March for Babies

We walked in our sixth March for Babies last month. The boys always have fun going, because the March for Dimes caters so much to kiddos. They have face painting, balloons, snacks, bounce houses... the kids have a blast.

Caulder was feeling guilty after posing with Willy, so to keep from getting in trouble with Grandma Sarah we had to track Cosmo down for a pic.

This little dragon thought he was the bomb. He spent the walk going up to complete strangers, roaring and pretending to cover them in ice. He's an ice dragon, obviously.

Caulder decided to make a flag for Team Tukk, which he carried proudly on the march.

And we met our donation goal this year. We're so thankful to everyone for their support every year!

The Sand Dunes

We took a camping trip out to the Sand Dunes clear back in April with this beautiful crew.

We went for a Ranger ride to explore the desert and found a muck hole to drive through. It was not our best idea. Super stinky.

The boys loved this sideways tree.
Tukk practiced helmeted fence climbing... safety first, little buddy.

And he almost had a heart attack when Cole and Grandpa Babe played a joke on him. While Cole snuck to the back end of this pipe Grandpa told Tukk that bears sometimes like to sleep in it. Right after that Cole growled and it was SO LOUD on our end. Poor Tukk flung himself out of the pipe into my arms, and I thought his heart was going to beat out of his chest. He was terrified. But he admitted it was a "good goke (joke)" when he figured out what was going on.

We also explored Porter Rockwell's old farm.
I was sorely tempted to light the giant piles of tumbleweeds on fire. Must... Burn... Everything....

But the boys' favorite part of the entire weekend was the hole Grandpa Babe dug in the sand for them. Cole and Uncle Andrew had to keep digging it deeper because it was just so exciting. Nothing beats standing in a sand hole.

Tukker Talketh

Mom, your bewwy (belly) is so comfy. I wanna seep on it tonight!

Poor, condemned doll Tukk was playing with: No, please. I don’t want to die!
Tukk: Sowwy honey. *chucks doll down the stairs*
Doll: Aaaaahhhhhhhh!

Don't worry belly. The waffles are on their way!

Me: Do you need to pee?
Tukk: No.
Me: Then why are you grabbing your wiener?
Tukk: Just for fun.

Mom! I know one weason why I didn't die! Because someone said a pwayer for me!

CJ: For my birthday breakfast I want Swedish pancakes. And for my birthday dessert I want something amazing.
Tukk: Like bacon?

Mom, if I ever get a pig can we keep Muggzy outside so she doesn’t scare him or make him into bacon?

You're the goodest mom ever. You're always nice to me and you never get mad, except when it's midnight or you're hungry.

Me during FHE: What does god promise us if we keep our baptismal covenants?
Tukk: that we get to live in a trailer and eat all the food we want!

This is what I’m gonna do if I ever have to kiss a girl. *applies chapstick* That way my lips will be super soft.

Tukk: Mom, my legs are stuck!
Me: I guess we'll have to cut them off and glue on wooden ones.
Tukk: Yes! Then I can be a pirate. Oh man, I got unstuck. Can we still cut my legs off so I can be a pirate?

Me: You need to eat your strawberry. Strawberries are good for boonies.
Tukk: Strawberries aren’t good for boonies. BACON is good for boonies.

I want to change my name to running guy. I don’t want it to be my nickname. I want it to be my real name.

Can you put the heater on my butt? I need a butt warmer.

Mom, you're the most beautifulest mom in the world!

Caulder: Tukk is a psychopath.
Me: Tukk, are you a psychopath?
Tukk: I'm not a psychopath. I'm awesome and cute!

Cole (to me): If I draw out for the Henries you'll have to come with me.
Tukk: Can I come too?
Me: Of course!
Tukk: And can Caulder come too, because I'll miss him too much if he doesn't get to come!

I wish I had tiger blood, so I could be human but I could have claws.

Can you please get me some more whipping cream with my dessert? I’m addicted to whipping cream. I’ve got a fever for more whipping cream!

Mom, I need to go poo. Can you come with me? Sometimes it gets kinda lonely.

Mom, can I have some of your drink or does it have cafeteria in it?

St. Geezy Girls' Trip

We finally resurrected the St. George girls' trip! We used to go every summer, but it's been years since we've been down to see ...
