Things I Learned on My Long Drive with Tukk


If he gets rich, he’s going to send, like, $40 or $60 bucks to the creator of Gravity Falls to bribe him to make more shows. 

Being a snow plow driver would be a pretty cool job. 

He used to think all diesels were driven by ghosts because he couldn’t see anyone sitting in the cab. 

When he grows up he wants to live in an RV and buy a Segway, because that’s all you really need. 


The Tukk is wise. Long drives with him are THE BEST.

Goblin Valley 2018

For spring break this year we headed to Goblin Valley. 


We made a new friend. 





Cole claims there was something familiar about these unevenly sized lumps. I'm sure I don't know what he was talking about.

Rand climbed a mountain all by himself, while I had three strokes at the bottom.

We rode the camel goblin.

We played another wicked game of The Floor Is Lava (which is really the reason we came back to Goblin Valley). As you can see from the picture below, Rand was the first to go be destroyed by liquid hot magma. It was unfortunate, but he knew the rules of the game.



The temperature was about 75 degrees, so Caulder almost got heat stroke.


Tukk practiced some epic parkour.

And we pretty much had the greatest time.


Our only regret? It started raining before we could hike Little Wildhorse Canyon, and we decided maybe it wouldn't be our best idea to take the kiddos hiking in a slot canyon in the rain.


That just means we have to go back soon.


St. Geezy Girls' Trip

We finally resurrected the St. George girls' trip! We used to go every summer, but it's been years since we've been down to see ...
