Wait, School Started?

It's already a new school year and I haven't even posted about the end of last year.

Caulder got to participate in Hope of America, where a bunch of fifth graders from all over Utah County come together to sing patriotic songs and put on a program.

He's in the white shirt, 3rd row from the bottom, left section, 3rd from the right. Um. I think.

He had a great time performing.

But we weren't very excited to say goodbye to their teachers from last year. Tukk had Mrs. Pruett for second grade.

And Caulder had his very favorite teacher ever: Mrs. Gadberry.

She was always so kind and complimentary about Caulder. She told us she loves his sense of humor, and that none of the other kids would really get his jokes, but she would be dying of laughter. He was out for a vacation once and she told us she missed him because she hadn't had him around to crack her up all week.

We decided to return the favor with a note from Caulder:

Both boys had a great year. I can't believe school is back in already.
